Description
An air of summer holidays! Stretching along the Thau lagoon to the west of the Mediterranean’s Golfe de Lyon lies the largest white wine producing area in the Languedoc – the Picpoul de Pinet. It consists of a triangle bounded by Agde, Pézenas and Sète : a limestone plateau basking in the rising sun covered in highly perfumed garrigue, rows of vines, and scattered pine groves.
This is a wine with an expressive and very fine nose, white flowers and citrus fruits. The mouth is lively with lemon peel flavours. An ideal quaffer for a warm, sunny day. A wine that's perfect for oysters, fish with spices even stuffed courgettes with fresh goat cheese… Yummy!
