Description
The domain rests in the rolling hills of the Mâconnais, at the crossroads of the picturesque towns of Chaintré, Chânes & Leynes. Château de Lavernette was founded in 1596 and today makes Pouilly-Fuissé and Beaujolais from their estate vineyards that drape the hillsides next to the winery.
The Pouilly-Fuissé "Vers Chane" is a wonderfully natural style of Chardonnay – light lemon, succulence and an unworldly feel that will transport you to that beautiful space in southern Burgundy. Best sipped and appreciated or with more delicate seafood and vegetarian dishes.
