The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Village has a fragrant, citrus-driven nose with touches of flint emerging with aeration. The palate has a vibrant, zesty entry with a silver bead of acidity that renders it almost, but not quite, shrill. There is good weight and persistency on this respectable village cru.
