62% Merlot, 22% Malbec and 16% Cabernet Sauvignon from Stags Leap District, Yountville and a vineyard in the foothills of the Vaca Mountains, just south of Stags Leap District. Aged for 20 months in a combination of Allier and Troncais barrels (100% new). In 2017, a lengthy, warm summer allowed the fruit to hang in near ideal conditions for a long, long time producing clusters of fruit with vivid colour, unrivalled flavours, and enticing aromas.
