Deep garnet colored, the 2019 The Dog Strangler (Mourvedre) has a textbook earthy, savory nose with notes of tilled loam, underbrush and Borvril over a core of mulberries and black plums. Full-bodied with plenty of expressive savory flavors on offer in the mouth, it has a pleasantly chewy texture and great length. A benchmark example of this variety!
