Torbreck creates exceptional Rhone-style red and white wines reflecting some of the very best vineyards in Australia’s famous Barossa. The winery is well known for finding unique sources for Shiraz, Grenache, Mourvèdre (Mataro in Australia) and Viognier grapes, often helping growers to resurrect some of the oldest vineyards in the world. They are committed to minimal intervention and creating wines of richness, structure and length that age gracefully.

– Torbreck "The Steading" 2018
The winery's signature GSM blend, this has it all – a fine balance, intensity of fruit concentration and a long, plummy, crushed berry coulis finish. A wine all about red fruit spice components without an imprint of oak. Sweet fruited, the bouquet is opulent, ripe and intense with layers of sun raisined blackberry, raspberry coulis, earthy tilled soil and bramble berry pepper and sappy spice. Palate show a fine balance, notable ripeness with a matching freshness. (93+/100 Greg Sherwood MW)
– Torbreck "The Struie" 2018
A dry vintage, which yielded a punchy, classy, concentrated expression of Shiraz. Lovely aromatic mineral nose with layers of opulent blue and purple fruits but also a dark broody core. Nose has sweet cherry, blood and iron, graphite hints and a savoury earthy blueberry concentration. Palate show plush density and creamy tannins with a kiss of vanilla pod oak spice, all with an underlying vibrant youthful intensity. (94+/100 GS)
– Torbreck "The Steading Blanc" 2019
Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne – fragrant aromas of acacia flowers, roasted nuts and buttered citrus are neatly balanced with underlying hints of bees wax and minerality. Medium to full-bodied with a lovely creaminess that lends texture to the opulent fruit, it is invigorated by a lively line of acid and a long, spicy finish.
