Description
Classic old vine (90-140 years old) Barossa Shiraz from normally four key vineyards, two owned by Torbreck as well as two grower vineyards. Low yielding and super concentrated, the wine sees a 50% new oak component which is only second to the Laird. Intriguingly dark and broody, this wine shows deep, dark complex layers of black savoury fruits, black liquorice, graphite, raisined black cherry, damson plum and savoury blood sausage. The wine has a real wow factor density, mouth-filling concentration and a real generosity of blue and black berry fruit opulence. Really powerful, benchmark Barossa.
