Description
Aglianico is an Italian variety native to Campania. The vineyards are set back from the beaches of Naples and Sorrento in the Irpinian mountains where alpine viticulture marries a Mediterranean climate. Aglianico is a late ripening variety with very thick skins meaning high levels of tannin are extracted.
Northern Rhone fans will love the black olive and worn leather notes on the wine in addition to wood smoke, tar and black cherry. The Naima is brooding and intense with incredible minerality on the finish that helps you to fully embrace the depth of black fruit on show.
