White Burgundy always goes down well, and we have a two bottle pack from a couple of our favourite producers, Domaine Faiverley and Domaine Paul Pillot. You'll get one bottle each of:
– Mercurey Clos Rochette 2021, Monopole Domaine Faiveley
The fruits here are astounding in their concentration and the rich mango and ripe apricot sing as the new oak has been toned down. Quite delicious and beautiful to drink.
– Bourgogne Chardonnay 2020, Domaine Paul Pillot
The grapes for this were lightly crushed and fermented in large, older oak casks. Lemony, crisp, and very delicate, the texture is ethereal, but a core of tension brings length and substance. An elegant wine.
