Burgundy in Eastern France is famed for it’s mastery over Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. James has been visiting the region bi-annually for nearly 40 years, tasting each vintage in turn and always looking to uncover golden growers, few and far between. The Cote d’Or is where James’ heart resides, and so is where Handford Wines, as a merchant, specialises. At this seated, pre-booked tasting, James has selected eight vintage defining styles from the last four years to help equip you with the tools to navigate the current Burgundy market. This is a fantastic opportunity for novice wine lovers + thirsty intermediates to engage openly with a Master of Wine in their true area of expertise!
