Founded by the Moccagatta family in the 1970's in the hamlet of Monterotondo. Villa Sparina comprises 100 hectares of land, 70 of which are cultivated with local grapes for the production of Gavi and Barbera wine. This fantastic estate regularly produces the finest expressions of these grapes and can now promote its wines through its Michelin-starred restaurant La Gallina. The unique and eye-catching bottle shape corresponds to the Roman amphorae vase found in the truffle-rich grounds during renovations of the Piedmont winery, it was designed by Giacomo Barsanetti.
